DIOR ADDICT LIPSTICK 745 NEW LOOK REVIEW

 All rite, here I am with another review....It's a bedazzling tube of Luxury with a pop of colour which screams Red Alert. I recently purchased the Dior Addict Lipstick in NEW LOOK 745 and let me tell you that this is the new love of my life and if I have to pick out one best buy I made for the entire month, then it would have to be the Dior New Look...!!

Let me be honest, when I tried it at the Dior counter, I wasn't really sure if I would ever wear any glossy lipstick in red, but the SA managed to convince me and I am so glad that I brought this baby home with me. Enough about my love for this lipstick, now let's talk about the star of the show: Dior Addict in NEW LOOK.

New Look is a beautiful red or what I would call a 'true red' with shimmer in it which is very fine and makes the colour pop with brilliance and gives it a well desired dewy feel. I love the fact that it goes on smooth even when swiped on the lips straight from the tube unlike many other red lipsticks and therefore it is very easy to apply.
Another thing I love about any lip product is when I can build on the colour with coats, that gives me the pleasure to play with the colour and this lipstick does just that. It goes from everyday wearable red to bright rich red. It's very moisturizing and hydrating, so it feels nice and comfortable on the lips and the glossy finish of the lipstick is not at all tacky but beautiful. This colour takes me back to the 70's and I am in love all over again...!!
It is one of those products that I will surely repurchase.

Why be so graphic when it comes to putting our eyeliner, let's make it more dramatic, more cinematic.. skipping the old routine of tapered edges...that would have been the thought of the makeup artists when they created the looks for the runways this season.

Celebrating the female silhouette, PEPLUMS is a must have in your wardrobe..In case you didn’t know, peplum refers to a ruffle around the waist which adds volume while creating an hourglass figure, its all over..from Yves Saint Laurent, Jason Wu, GIorgio Armani to Zara, Mango, Forever New....it's everywhere...so is it a part of your wardrobe yet....??

fringes, feathers, leopard prints and tribal pieces...guess what, it's all back this season..and I'm particularly happy about this trend coming back to life because one can just dig in their old closet and bring their old clothes back to life and make a trend out of it....I love going tribal with scarfs....what about you...??

When it comes to Lace this season, make it the main event of your outfit. From colour -pop summer dresses to elegant gowns in cut out floral pattern and super sized laces,,it can be seen everywhere.

More is less this season....Shiny Glossy fabrics and Jewel colors are the loud choice of the trend setters this season...are you bold enough to be a part of the shine on parade..not me..!!

LUSH: AQUA MARINA Face Cleanser

Before I began, let me confess that every time I walk past a Lush Store I have to go in and buy some lush goodies for myself....So here we are...what better way to start my reviews section with some Lush Goodies.....

This is one Lush product I really want to talk about....AQUA MARINA, one of the many solid face cleansers Lush has to offer..looks ahhhhh...not very flattering, it is all pink and squishy with bits of seaweed running through it and it smells like something I wouldn't want to get it near my face but since it is Lush, you will forgive everything....I rather not waste my money so I used it anyway and oh my god, i love the end result.... somehow with a mix of all the elements that made me not like this cleanser, it left my skin feeling so calm and refreshed....now if you ask me, this is one of my favorite cleansers ever....!! 

How I Use It: 

To begin with, it is a moist and smooth cleanser so it won't do the exfoliation and like many Lush cleansers this too will not help in removing makeup. 

Take a small amount of cleanser out of the pot and mix it with a bit of water on your hand and smooth it on to your face, idea is to massage your face with it, so be gentle. Massage for 2 -3 minutes, for better results just ignore the mess it will make. Once you are done, rinse it off with warm water and walla!! so smooth, hydrated and fresh without your skin feeling taut afterwards....!!

I have combination skin..mostly dry and super sensitive and this cleanser did wonders for me...but I do recommend to test it on your skin in the store before you buy it...hope it turns out to be a magic potion for all you lovely people as it did for me.
